XDefiant has been released for over a month now and Ubisoft San Francisco has already started to add new content to the game. Season 1 will go live on July 2 and it has already been teased as to what content will be arriving. Ahead of that, Ubisoft has introduced Team Deathmatch to XDefiant for the first time and it’s available to play now.

Surprisingly, XDefiant released without the popular Team Deathmatch mode that usually comes with all types of First-Person Shooters. This will now make it six game modes available in the game and Capture the Flag is on its way in early July with the new season.

There is no twist to the Team Deathmatch mode in this game as it’s all about who reaches 100 points first. Each kill equals one point. The maps available in the playlist are smaller than the others like if you were to play the Escort mode.
