It has been no secret that 2K is working on a new BioShock game, but the publisher or developer has been very quiet regarding the project. In a LinkedIn post by Senior Cinematic Designer at 2K Cloud Chamber, Jeff Spoonhower, he claims the BioShock team at Cloud Chamber is starting to ramp up.

He indicates that multiple positions are now open ranging from Art, Animation, Engineering, Design Narrative, and Production. The post also suggests that the development for the new BioShock title is ramping up overall which could be a good sign for fans patiently waiting.

There are more than 30 positions open to work at 2K Cloud Chamber and you can view them here.

It has not been over 10 years since the latest BioShock game released. BioShock Infinite was released in 2013 and BioShock 4 was announced to be in development in 2019, but actual footage or images have not been shared yet.
