Starfield Shattered Space Expansion Comes Next Month; Vehicle Update Available Now

For Starfield, the game since its release has show the impression it left when Bethesda Game Studios shipped its newest IP in over two decades. As of June this year, the space RPG has faced more than 14 million players exploring the universe. And that is just the start with the game’s first expansion ‘Shattered Space’ promised to launch later this fall.

In a follow-up interview more recently, Todd Howard did confirm that plans for Starfield post-launch anticipate releasing annual story DLC for the game as long as it can. Additionally, details on the next major add-on appears to have already surfaced online. It was uncovered what appears to be expansion 2 for Starfield is titled ‘Starborn’; presumably coming in 2025.

At Gamescom Opening Night Live, Bethesda Game Studios unveiled a new Shattered Space trailer with a release date set for next month. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“This clandestine faction is primarily known only by their dangerous reputation and violent history. When a distress signal originating from a derelict star station leads you on a path to Va’ruun’kai, you’ll begin to uncover the secrets surrounding the followers of the Great Serpent and ultimately decide the future of House Va’ruun,” the description shares.

Atop of that, a new update is going live today for Starfield. In that, a new vehicle – REV-8 – is coming to the base game. “Visit your favorite city’s ship technician to install a vehicle module and you’re good to go! Once you have the module in your ship of choice, the REV-8 will automatically deploy right outside your ship wherever you land. You can even show off your personal style by customizing the REV-8 with unique colors.”
