Astro Bot has sold 1.5 million copies as of November 3, 2024

There is no doubt that Astro Bot from Team Asobi has been Sony’s best PlayStation 5 game of 2024 as it was released on September 6, 2024, setting a new standard for 3D platformers. Sony revealed in their latest financial results that Astro Bot has sold 1.5 million copies on PlayStation 5 since its release.

When Astro Bot was released it received over 90+ on Metacritic and OpenCritic. It also had the highest PlayStation user score ever. Of course, this title hasn’t reached the heights of Helldivers 2 which released earlier in 2024 and that game is also a multiplatform game getting a lot of sales from PC.
