Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was launched almost a month ago already and sales results have slowly started to come out for the game. Phil Spencer already mentioned that Xbox is the most-played platform for Black Ops 6 which likely means both PC and Xbox. However, it looks like the release did not help boost sales for Xbox Series hardware.
According to industry insider, Mat Piscatella, the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 “did not provide a significant boost to Xbox Series hardware.”
On the positive side of business for Microsoft, it did boost subscription spending since Black Ops 6 is available through Game Pass. It’s also worth noting that this is related to the United States. It is unknown if Xbox sales received a boost in other regions.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is undoubtedly the best game in the series in at least five years. It features an impressive campaign, a gripping Zombies mode, and a fast-paced, enjoyable multiplayer experience. In our review, we scored the latest Call of Duty an 8.5 out of 10.
