monster hunter wilds copies sold

Capcom released Monster Hunter Wilds on February 28, 2025, on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Today, the publisher announced the game has sold over 10 million copies worldwide across all platforms in its first month.

Monster Hunter Wilds set a Capcom record with the most first-month sales of any game they have released. The game offers an environment where a wider variety of players can enjoy it together with the introduction of crossplay, which is a first for the series.

The first free Title Update for Monster Hunter Wilds is set to release on April 4th, which will add a fan-favorite monster as well as the Grand Hub, a new in-game settlement where players can gather and talk to each other.

Capcom plans to release the second Title Update this Summer.

Monster Hunter Wilds reached 1 million concurrent players on Steam within just a few hours of its release last month. And in just three days, the game sold 8 million copies on all platforms. It was also Capcom’s fastest-selling release in their history.
