Ubisoft job listing suggests a new Rayman game is in development

It has been a while since we saw a new Rayman game released. The last recent main installment in the Rayman series is Rayman Legends, which released in 2013. Other than that we have received remakes of games in the series. A new Ubisoft job listing suggests that a new Rayman game is currently in development.

Ubisoft Milan has a job listing for a Senior Game Designer who will work on the Rayman brand. The job description goes on to say that the ideal candidate will need to have proven and solid experience as a Game Designer in the video game industry with an in-depth understanding of how to define, prototype, and implement game systems within the scope of the project and following the game direction.

While there hasn’t been a new Rayman game released in a while, Ubisoft has done plenty of collaborations with other games. We saw Rayman join Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Brawlhalla, and make an appearance in Astro Bot.

Ubisoft hasn’t officially confirmed if there will be a new Rayman game releasing in the near future. It’s interesting how they word it as working on the “Rayman brand”. Could it be for more collaborations? It sure seems like there is a larger project in the works.
