The summer for PlayStation Plus in 2025 has only provided more reasons to keep your backlog full. Last month when June arrived, subscribers were met with the addition of NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and Destiny 2: The Final Shape. The following month in July 2025 was met with Diablo IV, The King of Fighters XV, and Justant later on.
One stark change to PlayStation Plus, however, will be the pricing. Previously, prices already increased for Canadian users earlier in 2025. But following its business segment meeting last month, there has only been further confirmation that the price is to continue to change for PlayStation Plus. It was also verified that first-party titles will still be exempt from releasing day-and-date for the service as well.
Now this week, Sony Interactive Entertainment returns with the newest wave of free titles. Although the latest batch of available titles for July 2025 are still available until August 4th, the next lineup will follow directly after. The newest selection of free titles for PlayStation Plus includes Lies Of P, Day Z, and My Hero One’s Justice 2.
At Rectify Gaming, we urge you read our review for Lies of P; scoring it a 9/10. “I wish I could tell you about the ending, but I am extremely glad that I played Lies of P. It is one of the most challenging, well made, solid executions of a Souls-like game and I know it will be a favorite amongst many!” we wrote.
Additionally, Lies of P was also recently greeted with its long-anticipated expansion. The new add-on ‘Overture’ shipped in June delivering a new story campaign alongside new weapons and adversaries to go against. You can read the full report by heading here.
How excited are you for these new titles hitting PlayStation Plus next month?
Lies Of P, Day Z, and My Hero One’s Justice 2 arrives to PlayStation Plus from August 5, 2025 to September 1, 2025.
