Helldivers 2 teases Halo 3: ODST crossover in new trailer

Arrowhead Studios shared a new trailer for Helldivers 2 titled “Bring the Boom,” and it teases a crossover with Halo 3: ODST. The trailer shows a variety of clips of what players can do in the third-person shooter. However, the ending teases what looks to be an ODST Drop Pod landing in New Mombasa.

Helldivers 2 has been available on PC via Steam and on PlayStation 5. It will be coming to Xbox Series X|S on August 26, the same day the Gears of War comes to PlayStation for the first time. This trailer comes just a few weeks before Helldivers comes to the platform Halo grew up on.

The Halo 3: ODST crossover with Helldivers would be even more significant since there have been rumors that Halo is coming to PlayStation 5 in the near future.

At this time, no other information was revealed from Arrowhead Studios or Halo Studios.
