Nintendo announces Kirby Air Riders Direct set for August 19

Nintendo announced today that it will be hosting a special Kirby Air Riders Direct with director Mr. Sakurai. The Direct will go live on Tuesday, August 19, at 6:00 AM PT and 9:00 AM ET. Nintendo also mentioned the Kirby Air Riders Direct will be roughly 45 minutes long.

The Direct will provide an in-depth look at Kirby Air Riders coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 this year.

How To Watch Kirby Air Riders Direct

You can watch the Kirby Air Riders Direct on the official Nintendo YouTube Channel or Twitch Channel. If you miss the live stream, you’ll be able to watch it afterwards. 

The sequel to the GameCube classic Kirby Air Ride was first revealed during the Switch 2 reveal in April. Since then, there has been silence from Nintendo and Sakurai. It’s still planned to be released in 2025.
