The ROG Xbox Ally & ROG Xbox Ally X release October 16

Microsoft announced in partnership with Asus that the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X handheld consoles will be released on October 16, 2025. However, pre-orders are not available yet, and Microsoft has not announced the official pricing for these handheld consoles.

The reason the price has not been revealed yet is the ongoing tariff situation. Recently, Sony had to give in and raise their PS5 prices as well. While Microsoft and Asus haven’t revealed the pricing for the ROG Xbox Ally handheld consoles yet, it has been leaked via Dealabs.

The outlet had reported that the ROG Xbox Ally will be $549.99 USD and the ROG Xbox Ally X will be $899.99 USD.

On the official Xbox website, they don’t have a pre-order button yet and only have a “Email when available” option as of now. We’ll likely learn the launch price of the Xbox Ally handhelds as we get closer to release.

Right now at Gamescom, attendees are able to get their hands on it while playing games like Hollow Knight Silksong.
