Over the past few years Nintendo was a laughing stock in the gaming world. They started to go downhill a few years after the Nintendo Wii came out and started to go down further with the lack of games for the 3DS and the Nintendo Wii U. Come spring Nintendo releases Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U and that is probably one of the best rated games of 2014 for the Wii U. Come June 10th, 2014 Nintendo announces Amiibos and everyone is like…. what is that? So fast forward more to November 21st Super Smash Bros. comes out for the Wii U and these things called Amiibos. So when they first talked about Amiibos I was like oh yeah I will get them whenever they will never go out of stock. But come a few weeks later Marth, Villager and the Wii Fit Trainer get discontinued. ( WFT is from Wii fit. Marth is from Fire Emblem and Villager is from Animal Crossing) So this made the whole Nintendo fan base scared and wondering if they will ever come back. With Nintendo not Saying anything this becomes more of a rush to buy every single one before another wave comes out. (Currently at this time wave 1 and wave 2 are out) Also from experience if you buy one all of a sudden you want all of them! That is a true statement.
To all other console fans you guys maybe wondering well why are these kids so obsessed with these plastic toys? Well I am an old time Nintendo fan and I haven’t been into Nintendo as of late since the first year of the Nintendo Wii. After that I kinda slipped off the Nintendo world. But I am now slowly coming back with the want of Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. I have never seen people go crazy about Nintendo products since the Nintendo Wii first came out because you go to a store and you will see zero amiibos. I went to about 20 stores including the city searching for these things and ended up with a Wii Fit Trainer and once I saw a little kid holding one I was like going crazy and I never go nuts over a Nintendo product.
Now that we are in 2015 I think Nintendo is slowly becoming a threat to competition between Sony and Microsoft. They got a brand new Zelda game coming out Nintendo fans wanted they released a fan favorite game in Super Smash Bros. they got a bunch of secrets up their sleeve and I am pretty excited for that as an old Nintendo fan. I doubt soon that they will be a laughing stock to the world as they were in the past and I have faith in Reggie because he is one sneaky guy. But all in all these Amiibos are making Nintendo more popular and they are making lots of cash from them. Here is a list of wave 1 and wave 2 and their rarity:
Wave 1: Rarity
Mario Common
Donkey Kong Common
Peach Common
Yoshi Common
Link Common
Fox Rare (Becoming discontinued)
Samus Uncommon (Becoming discontinued)
Wii Fit Trainer Rare (Discontinued)
Villager Rare (Discontinued)

Marth Rare (Discontinued)
Wave 2: Rarity

If you see Fox or Samus grab them! But like I said Amiibos are getting Nintendo popular again.
As you can see in that picture that is how rare these Amiibos are and by that picture you can tell people are getting scared. Nintendo has not said much about resupplying any of these but once we know we will let you know!
