Sandfall Interactive released what could be Game of The Year, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, earlier this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. In the first 33 days the game sold 3.3 million units.
It has now been revealed via an interview that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has sold 4.4 million copies since its release. The outlet Clips du Lundi interviewed two members from the Expedition 33 development team.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 had a smaller budget compared to some of the biggest games released this year. It has around a $50 million budget or a little less.
Previously, Sandfall Interactive revealed there are plans for the franchise and stated, “This is not the end”. They cleared up that Clair Obscur is the franchise name and Expedition 33 is just one of the stories told in the series.
