Availability for Xbox Game Pass has never been a problem. Looking at its library, new & amazing titles hit the service on a regular basis. One of 2025’s biggest hitters – Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – will be a day one release for the subscription. And even recently, Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight: Silksong just launched for Xbox Game Pass as well.

As for functionality, there are potential changes underway for the service. In one report, it was revealed that Microsoft is looking to introduce a cheaper tier dedicated to game streaming via Xbox Cloud Gaming. Additionally, the firm through its Xbox Insiders program launched Xbox Cloud Gaming for its Core & Standard tiers before being a public feature.

One of the featured additions is Frostpunk 2. In our review, Rectify Gaming scored the title an 8.5-10. “Players who are experienced from the first game will understand the level of patience required, but the rewards for persevering through its complexities are substantial. The blend of strategic decision-making and compelling storytelling makes each playthrough enjoyable and engaging.”

On September 30th, four titles are to exit Xbox Game Pass. Those games are Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Cloud; Console; PC), Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (Cloud; Console; PC), Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge (Cloud; Console; PC), and Terra Invicta (Game Preview) (PC).
