Recently, there has been ongoing efforts at PlayStation to further invest resources into live-service endeavors. Earlier this summer, Sony revealed that the firm is eager to continue the initiative despite the previous upsets like Concord the year prior. The bigger goal is to establish PlayStation as a wider platform rather than just its console front – another talking point touted by Sony previously as well.
And, it has shown to be an development as things are shaping together in the background. Recently, it was uncovered that a new ‘cross-buy’ feature is in the works between PC & console. Sony Interactive Entertainment is also working towards its own standing in the mobile space too. This week, it revealed Horizon Steel Frontiers – a MMO for mobile & PC.
Now in a separate reveal with mobile developer Oh Bibi Games, Insomniac Games unveils free-to-play multiplayer arena shooter Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

Go solo or team up with other Rangers online in thrilling multiplayer games built for every kind of player.” Currently, there is no release window shared for the title. But, pre-registration is already live for both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
