Wolverine PS5

Sony Interactive Entertainment is planning for a decent year for its PlayStation Studios with Marathon and Marvel’s Wolverine. However, a new report has come out from Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, followed by Nate The Hate, that Sony is planning to release fewer single-player titles on PC.

According to Nate, the decision to step away from PC was made in 2025. Some PlayStation titles may still be released, and it depends on how far along the ports are. Don’t expect to see PlayStation 5 single-player games on PC to be a priority.

Sony has not come out and said anything officially. They most likely won’t at this point. It’s safe to assume that games like Wolverine may not come to PC afterall. This is the opposite strategy that Xbox has done as of late by releasing their games everywhere, including PS5.

What do you think of this move by Sony?
