Open Beta For Invincible VS Goes Live Today

Skybound’s Invincible is the next IP from the entertainment conglomerate to hit massive success. Following the likes of The Walking Dead as well as Fables, the new superhero commentary when hitting Amazon Prime surged in popularity. As a result, we’ve seen the series find new excitement with announcements like Omni-Man joining Mortal Kombat 1 back in 2024.

Additionally, Skybound also launched a Republic crowdfunding campaign which ended successfully in backing an AAA title for Invincible by talent from studios like Electronic Arts, Blizzard Entertainment, and Epic Games. Elsewhere, a new fighting game – Invincible VS – was announced. By studio Quarter Up, a team made up of former Killer Instinct developers, is set to come later in 2026.

This week from April 9th to April 11th, an open beta is going live for Invincible VS. The public players will feature over a handful of characters as well as stages to test the waters for the new title. You can watch the open beta trailer in the video below:

The character lineup for the open beta consists of Invincible, Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Thula, Rex Splode, Battle Beast, Omni-Man, Robot, Monster Girl , and Allen the Alien. And the stages featured are Hometown Invasion (Night), Moon, Ka-Hor’s Tomb (Day), Himalayas, Kinetic Chamber, and Training Room.

“Open Beta is available to ANYONE that wants to try out the brutal 3v3 tag fighter on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but don’t worry, PC will be available at launch,” the post reads. “To hop in simply head to your preferred platform’s store (PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S) and download the Invincible VS Open Beta starting on April 9. No sign-up or registration required. Servers will be open until 9pm PT on April 11 so be sure to get as many matches in as you can!”
