In the last year, Square Enix celebrated 35 years of Chrono Trigger, and earlier this year, they hosted the Chrono Trigger Orchestra in Tokyo, Japan. During that show, they showed prototype figures for Chrono and Marle. At the time, these were not painted.
Yesterday, Guernicass4 0n X (Twitter) posted images of the FORM-ISM figures fully painted for Marle and Chrono. The user predicts that pre-orders should be coming soon, given how they look to be complete.
Based on past trends, these could come under 10,000 yen.

Square Enix has been vague on the future of Chrono Trigger. The game has not been released on modern platforms thus far and is only available on PC via Steam. Surprisingly, Square Enix is hosting three shows in October for the Chrono Trigger Orchestra performing in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
Do you think Chrono Trigger will be making a comeback?
