
Playground Games announced that Forza Horizon 6 will feature Quality and Performance Modes on Xbox Series X|S consoles. This will allow players to prioritize their preference for graphics or framerate while playing.
Here are the features for each mode on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S:
Xbox Series X
For Xbox Series X, the Quality mode runs in native 4K resolution at 30FPS with increased visual fidelity.
The Performance mode targets 4K resolution, scaling dynamically to maintain a smooth 60FPS
Xbox Series S
For Xbox Series S in Quality mode, it will run at 1440p at 30FPS.
Performance mode will run at 1080p at 60FPS. Both options will dynamically scale the output resolution to maintain the targeted frame rate.
In other news, Playground Games revealed new Loyalty Rewards for returning players in Forza Horizon 6. They also announced that Forza Horizon 6 has gone gold, which means that development has been completed.
Forza Horizon 6 releases May 15 for Early Access and May 19 for everyone else on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The PS5 version is coming at a later date.
