Xbox Elite 3 Controller leaked, features two scroll wheels and more

Microsoft has been, without a doubt, designing new controllers for its next-gen console, Project Helix, but also other options for the current makeup of the Xbox Controller.

Images have leaked online of the Xbox Elite 3 Controller via Tecnoblog. The outlet also shared images of the new Xbox Cloud Gaming Controller.

The Xbox Elite 3 Controller has been improved compared to the Elite 2. It’s going to support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth. There are two new buttons on the bottom between the grips, which are considered “scroll wheels”. It also has the 3.5mm headphone jack between these scroll wheels. It will feature a new pair button to switch between local mode and cloud mode. The controller also retains the rechargeable and removable battery.

Customization will remain with this version of the Xbox Elite Controller, allowing you to change the D-Pad, Triggers, and Paddles.

It has yet to be determined when the Xbox Elite 3 Controller will release. It’s possible we could see it at the Xbox Games Showcase which has featured hardware reveals previously.
