Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered is releasing on November 3, 2026, for PS5, XBOX Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. This is according to Billbil-kun of Dealabs, who has been reliable in these leaks.
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee was originally released in October 2002 on Nintendo GameCube, then released on Game Boy Advance and the Original XBOX.
The game is being developed by Pipeworks, the studio behind the original game, and it will be published by Atari. It’s also interesting that its release date is just two weeks before the launch of GTA 6. A physical edition is also confirmed for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the game.
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee is expected to cost $30 on PS5 and XBOX, with the Switch 2 version being $40. These prices are not official yet.
The Godzilla remaster will feature 12 playable Kaiju, each with their own unique fighting style, and battle it out in 8 destructible environments.
Here are the Key Features:
- A brand new online multiplayer mode , in addition to the local cooperative mode already present in the 2002 game.
- Graphics completely remastered from the ground up, for a visual experience worthy of current-generation consoles.
- Interactive arenas that allow you to use the environment as a weapon. Dropping a skyscraper on an opponent remains one of the game’s major promises.
- The unlocking system has been revised, with monsters, locations, and gallery items now being unlockable in any order.
- Additional single-player campaigns for each kaiju
It’s unclear where this game will be announced. It could be a random announcement or during one of the upcoming showcases.
