Halo Studios announced new features coming to Halo: Campaign Evolved including a new Machinima Mode. They also announced more details about the physical edition of the game which has become a large topic these days.
The Halo: Campaign Evolved physical edition at retail stores will include a physical disc in its case.
This might be the only time a Halo game will ever see a physical disc for a PlayStation console. Sony announced this week that starting in 2028 they will stop production on physical discs and any new game will be digital-only.
Pre-orders are now available for Halo: Campaign Evolved across all retailers including GameStop. Pre-ordering at this retailer will grant you a bonus of a limited-edition Halo-themed coin.
Halo: Campaign Evolved releases on July 28, 2026 for XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
