Endangered Monsters are a special category of monsters in Monster Hunter Stories 3 that have disappeared due to invasive species and environmental damage. These Monsters don’t appear normally in the wild, but their eggs are hidden inside dens guarded by Invasive Monsters.
Restoring more Endangered monsters increases the Ecosystem Rank and unlocks stronger variants and abilities. They are somehow locked behind boss encounters and can be used to rebuild the world.
Endangered Monsters Overview
Monster Hunter Stories 3 features multiple distinct monsters, and Endangered monsters are one of them. They are rare, powerful monsties that do not appear naturally in the open area. Their eggs are sealed inside special dens and guarded by Invasive Monsters. The objective here for you is to force the Invasive monsters to retreat to access the egg in the dens. Repelling the Invasive monsters can be challenging because it requires special conditions rather than killing them.

Endangered monsters are stronger than normal monsters and crucial for story progression. They give you some of the best Monsties in the game, tied to the Habitat Restoration system and stronger variants. These monsters have strong base stats like HP, attack, stamina, and resistance.
Nargacuga is one of the most powerful beasts due to its unique combat abilities, making it easier for you to defeat high-level enemies. Expand your team by finding the Invasive dens and getting endangered monsties.
