There is even more Nintendo Switch news and this time it is regarding the Nintendo Pro controller, as myself I’ve been hoping for support of a headset for the Switch since it would make sense if they are going forward with eSports with games like Splatoon that are team based.
Laura Kate has gotten information from sources that the pro controller will not have a headphone jack.

According to a source close to the production of the Switch reveal trailer, we have learned that the Switch Pro Controller doesn’t feature a headset port, either proprietary or standardised. This info is based on the hardware model shown during the Switch reveal, and based on the assumption that the hardware used in that trailer is representative of final design.

Unlike Xbox One and PlayStation 4 the Switch may not support a headphone jack at first, but who knows what will happen. We should expect official news in January.
