The first official gameplay for FIFA 18 was revealed today by EA during the EA Play conference at E3 in Los Angeles. It shows star Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid undergoing some incredible motion capture and intense, new career mode footage. In addition, EA also announced how fans can get involved more than ever before and represent their favorite team in esports.
The biggest step in gameplay innovation in franchise history, FIFA 18 introduces Real Player Motion Technology, an all-new animation system which unlocks a new level of responsiveness, and player personality – now Cristiano Ronaldo and other top players feel and move exactly like they do on the real pitch. Player Control combined with new Team Styles and Positioning give you the tools to deliver Dramatic Moments that ignite Immersive Atmospheres around the world.
FIFA releases on September 29th, but you can play three days earlier on the 26th if you pre-order the special Ronaldo Edition. Those with EA Access of course, get five days before that on the 21st, eight days early total. You will be allowed 10 hours max to play prior to the full launch on the 29th, but all your progress will carry over to the full game once you use up all your time. There will also be various icons, which have replaced the FIFA Ultimate Team on Xbox One and will now be multi-platform. These icons can be earned or purchased through in game packs and last for a limited time.

FIFA 2018 is also set to advance eSports and integrate player personalities like never before. There will be many more local tournaments geared towared individual players rather than teams in order to provide more players with a chance to test our their skill.
