Microsoft officially revealed the next Xbox today, and it is called the Xbox One X. The code name Scorpio is the engine used in the game, and is so intense that it comes with a liquid cooled vapor chamber normally reserved for only the most high end PC’s.
It will release on November 7th, 2017 and not only is it the most powerful console ever, it is also the smallest. It is smaller than the Xbox One S. The premiere trailer, which you can see below, allows the console to run first party games in true, native 4K and 60fps. This is only for first party games, but other developers can choose to develop for that at first. It was shown with Forza Motorsport 7, which also releases on October 3rd, 2017. The game will be on both Xbox One X and Windows 10 as a Play Anywhere title. This means that Xbox One and One S owners will play a bit earlier.Â
