After the announcement of Rocket League getting 4K and HDR support at the Xbox E3 stage for Xbox One X, Psyonix has also announced it’s offering their game for free if current Xbox Live Silver members upgrade to three months of Xbox Live Gold. Here’s their official statement:
“Speaking of Xbox One, anyone who purchases a three-month Xbox Live Gold subscription card from June 12 through June 30 will receive a FREE copy of Rocket League! If you buy a three-month subscription through your console, Rocket League will automatically be added to your Xbox Live account if you don’t already own a copy. If you buy a physical subscription card at a local retailer, your Rocket League code will be printed on your receipt, and can be attached to any Xbox Live account that does not already own the game. If you’re new to the game or Xbox Live Gold or have a friend who’s in the market for either one, now’s a great time to take the shot!”
