Sony's Jim Ryan " Our industry is better and stronger when Nintendo is strong"

Nintendo has been off to a great start with the Nintendo Switch, after the Nintendo Wii U which did not really sell, having only sold about 13 million units from 2012-2017. Sony’s Globe Sales Chief, Jim Ryan in an interview with Game Reactor has said that the Industry is better when Nintendo is doing well. Here is what he said. “It creates conversation, it creates excitement- and certainly having a rejuvenated and energetic Nintendo back is a great thing for the industry, our industry is better and stronger when Nintendo is strong- I really believe that.” What do you think? Is Jim Ryan right, Is having a strong Nintendo a good thing. I think so, the Nintendo Switch is a great system and it’s great seeing them doing well again.
