343 announced last night that HaloWC is returning in 2018 making it the third World Championship for Halo 5: Guardians. Back in 2016, Halo 5 held the highest prize pool on a console game with 2.5 million dollars on the line. CLG – now Optic Gaming – took the prize beating its rivals Allegiance.
