H1Z1 Now Free To Play On Steam

H1Z1 will be making its way to free to play on Steam due to popular demand.
Along with this announcement that the Pro League for the game will have 15 teams participating at the Las Vegas venue for this season. Making the move for free to play was to give fans the option to play what created the Battle Royale genre. As said from H1Z1 General Manager, Anthony Castoro states:
Pro League is going to redefine esports when it kicks off in Las Vegas this April, and whether a person is an aspiring pro athlete or just wants to play with friends, we want everyone to have the chance to play the most competitive battle royale game.
For those who purchased the game in Early Access will receive an Appreciation Pack that will include a gasrunner hoodie, bloom survivor T-shirt, splinter camo AVR, 10 victory cases and 10,000 skulls. Those who purchased the game recently will be given the option to refund the game.
