With the latest release in the Deus Ex franchise Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the game received less than expected reviews that Eidos Montreal has anticipated. And with the recent announcement of the franchises’ hiatus, many have come to the conclusion that this was the end for Adam Jensen and the Deus Ex Universe.
But with the recent interview done by PCGamesn with Eidos Montreal Studio Head David Anfossi, he confirms that the series isn’t close from dead. Stating “Deus Ex is not dead, I can confirm that”.

Deus Ex, of course, it’s the brand of the studio. We are all attached to this franchise, but we cannot do everything, you know? So we have Shadow of the Tomb Raider, we have this co-development with Crystal [Dynamics] on The Avengers, and we have a third game in development, so it’s enough at the moment for us.

For right now there’s no word on what the third announced title might be as of yet. With Shadow of the Tomb Raider already announced, it’s expected we might see the Avengers title first at E3 in less than a month away.
