Suda51, the director and creator of the No More Heroes series, is re-releasing the cult favorite Killer7 for the PC in HD. The game originally came out for the GameCube and PS2 in 2005.
Killer7 is a cel-shaded assassination game in which you play as as Harman Smith, who takes seven distinct personalities known as, well, Killer7. The idea is that you can choose each personality that is suited best for your missions. It is an assassination game after all. The game was so popular that a gun in Resident Evil 4 (Capcom also published Killer7 originally) was named after it. It did receive decent reviews, earning its cult status, so time will tell on how this game has aged with this HD re-release along with controller support.
Killer7 will be out this fall for Steam. No word yet on the console re-release.

I have been gaming since 1987 when arcades were king. Still enjoy old school games. “Part-time” writer, forever gamer.
