Starfield Announced For Next Generation Consoles

As one of the on going predictions from many Bethesda fans this E3, they were proven right when Starfield was announced showcasing a teaser for the upcoming title.
Said to Bethesda’s first original franchise in over twenty five years, Starfield will be a future project from Bethesda. Stated by Todd Howard on the announced title:

A brand new, next generation single player game.

With only a glimpse of a planet with a neighboring satellite, this teaser already shows the transition into the next generation of gaming consoles. From the lighting bouncing off the wings on the satellite to the detail in the atmosphere on the planet. This is a project we will have to be patiently waiting for in the upcoming years.
There’s no other information on when we expect gameplay, let alone a release date or platforms it will be available for.
