Need for Speed Reboot Coming to Xbox One, PS4, And PC

After the talks of the next Need for Speed reveal the past few weeks it has finally come! The new Need for Speed will be named Need for Speed as of right now. This is to be a full reboot on the Need for Speed franchise. EA promises Need for Speed will draw on what it considers the core pillars of the series: “deep customization, authentic urban car culture, a nocturnal open world, and an immersive narrative that pulls you through the game.”

The game will be shown more at E3 2015 at Electronic Art’s press conference which will be held on Monday, June 15th. The game will launch worldwide this fall on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. Exact date is to be determined. “Need for Speed is one of the most iconic names in gaming, and we’re returning it to greatness in this reboot,” said Marcus Nilsson, Executive Producer at Ghost Games. “Pulling on our 20 years of history, and then taking a year out from releasing a game, we are making the game we’ve always wanted to. We’re listening to the fans and delivering an experience that will capture their imagination and unleash their passion for cars and speed.”
