EA Announces Command & Conquer And Red Alert Remasters

Following the feedback surveys EA pitch over a month ago to bring the Command & Conquer titles from mobile back to PC, the publisher has announced that both Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Command & Conquer: Red Alert will be getting remastered versions of the original titles.

Both the original 1995 title along with the fan favorite Red Alert will include all expansions with their respected reworked versions. The choice for the first title makes sense to be reimagined to modern standards, while many supported the idea of brining Red Alert via the surveys asking for feedback.

Creative director Jim Vessella made a statement regarding the choice for the two titles:

We have decided to remaster Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn. And while this is incredibly exciting on its own, we’re also aware of how passionate the community is about the Red Alert universe.  So, we will also remaster the original Command & Conquer: Red Alert™.

Following his statement, Vessella made sure to mention that the collection will include all existing expansion “without microtransactions.” Vessella has also revealed that EA will be partnering with Petroglyph Games to bring the remaster to reality.

The publisher mentioned that the announced remastered collection still has not started development yet. So for those who are eager to revisit the two titles will have to wait possibly into 2020 if we’re not lucky in 2019.
