Devil May Cry 2 Is Out Now For Nintendo Switch

Despite the unlikeliness of seeing another Devil May Cry title hit the Nintendo eShop following the original 2001 titular game which arrived earlier this year, publisher Capcom disregards their denouncement of interest to port another game and still went ahead by announcing the succeeded Devil May Cry 2 for the Switch.

During the latest Nintendo Direct presentation that took place earlier this month, Capcom shared that the 2003 sequel will arrive for Switch users on September 19, today.

As like the first port for the hybrid handheld console, Devil May Cry 2 is sold as a separate game listed at $19.99. While users on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC can indulge in the original trilogy via the Devil May Cry HD Collection, users on Switch must fork over more than their competing counterparts. Now with the likeliness of Devil May Cry 3 to drop on the Switch sometime next year, fans should anticipate another similar price tag.

While the three are games that hardly scratch the surface of the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 generation, there is the possibility of the HD rework bundle arriving to the eShop, but don’t hold your breath for Capcom to say so.
