
Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake will be releasing in 2026. The announcement concluded the June 9th Nintendo Direct with a cinematic trailer that teases what the game could look like. It teases what we could expect Link to look like.
It’s clearly a remake and it’s unknown what the official name will be. They do mention that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be “reborn” for Nintendo Switch 2. A release date was not revealed nor has any other information.
Nintendo announced several games coming to the Switch 2 including Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, and Switch 2 Editions for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Xenoblade Genesis. Third party games were also a big part of the shown with Kingdom Hearts 4 leading the way along with Lies of P and RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
We should expect more news for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in the coming months.
