Just coming from the recent news of PlayStation titles given the criteria to expand on towards full cross-platform play, Ubisoft studio Blue Mammoth Games announced that their platform brawler Brawlhalla has been settled to support online play between all major platforms now: that meaning players on any piece of hardware the game is supported can play with opposing platforms.

Previously, the game only supported limited cross-play accessibility between Xbox and Nintendo Switch, following with the addition of PC back in June, now the floodgates have been left completely open as now Sony users can now indulge in this fully open brawlhalla.

While this marks the ‘fifth phase’ of Blue Mammoth Games’ cross-play campaign for the title, the developer promises still with more to come in the later future of updates related to today’s announcement. Upon standard matchmaking within in-game lobbies, the team also disclosed that PlayStation players can now enter into the official esports event hosted by Blue Mammoth.

Speaking of Brawlhalla esports, it was just last month that Rectify Esports’ Brandon “Lil Capped” Anderson and recently acquired Andrew “ithrowow” Lim took first place at Dreamhack Montreal for the Brawlhalla 2v2 bracket.

Brawlhalla is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
