Activision’s and Tencent Games’ Call of Duty Mobile has proven to be an absolute commercial success this past month as the game not only achieved 100 million users within its first week, but also broke several records upon reaching the first month since the game’s debut on Apple and Android. And the start has only begun as the developer is already planning to bring more content to the game.

To get the exciting part out of the way first, Activision announced that the long-awaited return of controller support will be debuting for the mobile first-person shooter this coming Friday on November 22 after being removed suddenly after launching last month. Assumably, support for the Xbox One Controller and Dualshock 4 are expected to be the two major gamepads to be available for use alongside potential integration for the Nintendo Pro Controller and other Bluetooth controllers also.

Here is the full rundown scheduled for the entirety of November:

  • 11/11 – 11/18: Call of Duty Endowment Pack
  • 11/15 – 11/21: Sniper Only Event & Challenge
  • 11/15 – 11/24: Molotov Cocktail Event
  • 11/16 – 11/24: Weapon Mastery – Multiplayer
  • 11/22 – Controller Support &Zombies Mode
  • 11/25 – Battle Pass Season 2 Begins

Another juicy addition that will be coming if you’ve read the highlighted additions is the notorious zombies mode for the series. Activision revealed that the undead horde mode will indeed be returning with a teaser of an reworked version of Call of Duty: World at War Shi No Numa. Seeing the pattern of combined assets from all installments in the franchise, expect settings from the Black Ops series, and possibly from either Advanced Warfare, Infinite Warfare, or even World War 2.
