Instead of there being two iterations alike the original series launched with more than a decade ago, Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will only be shipped with the one name-sharing version. Retelling the story of the classic two titles, you wake up as a Pokémon and must form your own rescue team to save the troubled Pokémon in danger from what lies ahead in your journey.

Along the way, you will meet more Pokémon who you can recruit for your team as you explore the dungeon-laid settings that will unlock during your ongoing voyage of being a Pokémon. New to this reworked version, The Pokémon Company adds ‘watercolor-inspired graphics’ that are certainly welcomed to the beloved series that have spread as far as the Nintendo 3DS.

Amid the announcement earlier today, Nintendo also shared that a demo of the upcoming title will be launching at a later time. When downloading the playtest, players will be able to sample just what the full game will be ultimately. Even more, your progress can be put to the full version when it launches this coming March.
