Oh, so NOW they care? I’m guessing “because it sucks” is too easy an answer.
Bungie has been sending emails to anyone that hasn’t logged into Destiny within the past 30 days. The email basically asks why they haven’t been playing and if they are going to come back and play any time soon in the future. If you are logging in, you also get emails asking you to rate Destiny on scale of 1 to 5.
At this point, Destiny is pretty much treading water with the delay of Destiny 2 and no new content coming anytime soon. The game has been a boatload of issues since it first launched a year and a half ago after delays, minimal story and other problems. The most recent content is the Valentine’s day crucible doubles, which follows the sparrow racing event. This was only available for a limited time and had users asking why with so little content on the horizon. No matter what they do at this point, Bungie and Activision have a lonnnnnnnnnng road ahead of them in order to win players back with their “ten year plan”
