SEGA deconfirms a leaked Persona 5 Royal port for PC

Today has been a rather interesting spring of leaks of varying credibility from Amazon France, kicking this completely out of nowhere string of unannounced- and likely, unreal- PC ports of various console games. The first of such happened to be the hot-off-the-presses expanded edition of Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, which hit PS4 exclusively in the West at the tail end of March after its release in Japan in October if last year. Now, SEGA has stepped out and made a statement regarding the port.

“That listing is an error and we’re looking into having it taken down and how it happened,” says a representative from SEGA. Sorry if you were getting your hopes up, but unless this is NDA talking, Persona 5 Royal doesn’t seem like it’ll be leaving PS4 any time soon, if ever. This also isn’t the only leak regarding console ports to PC from Amazon France, but if this deconfirmation and the fact that one of the leaks was Super Mario Odyssey doesn’t change anything for the rest of the leaks, I don’t know what does.
