A Batman: Arkham Shadow sequel is going to start development, voice actor confirms

Batman: Arkham Shadow has become one of the best VR releases we have seen in the last year from Camouflaj and Oculus Studios. In our review, we scored the game a 10/10, praising that it is a must-have for Dark Knight fans.

A sequel to Batman: Arkham Shadow is apparently going to be in development soon. In an interview, voice actor Mark Rolston, who voiced Commissioner Gordon, confirmed they are going to start working on the sequel.

In the interview with Culture Combine at Fan Expo Chicago 2025, Mark Rolston responded to a question saying, “Same thing with the Batman Arkham Shadow VR game. We’re about to start another one of those. I play Commissioner Gordon.”

The conversation didn’t start with talking about the Batman VR experience. It originally started with a question about voice acting in Blade Runner and Spider-Man 2. Thanks to UploadVR for sharing the quotes. 

Batman: Arkham Shadow is an exclusive game to Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S, with no plans to ever release on other VR platforms. The developer has not confirmed any plans of a sequel to happen yet, but with its success, it would not be a surprise.
