A new John Wick AAA game could be announced soon

It was first spotted by Tech4Gamer that a John Wick AAA game is in development and will be announced soon, along with a new SAW project. Chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Adam Fogelson, mentions in the company’s Q2 2026 earnings call that a John Wick game is in the works.

Fogelson says, “Our AAA game opportunities and other gaming opportunities around John Wick and Saw and some others we’ll be announcing soon.” No other details were shared about the project yet.

In 2023, Lionsgate confirmed that a John Wick game has been in development.

The John Wick game should not come as a surprise since Keanu Reeves himself has been getting involved with video game-related projects of late. He starred as Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077 and now plays the role of Shadow in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie series.

Lionsgate didn’t get specific about when it could reveal the anticipated title. 2026 has only just started, and there are plenty of moments this year where they can make this happen.
