Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is one of the most anticipated video game adaptations coming this year along with Borderlands. Paramount Pictures and Sega have been very quiet about sharing the film’s news, including the first official trailer. It has been leaked that Keanu Reaves will be voicing Shadow in the movie and now the rating has been leaked.
According to All Movie, Sonic the Hedgehog is rated PG-13. This is interesting as the first two Sonic the Hedgehog films are rated PG for action, some violence, rude humor, and brief mild language.

What could we expect from a PG-13-rated Sonic the Hedgehog movie? We could experience slightly stronger language such as very few curse words, if any. With this rating, it is recommended that parents should be strongly cautioned as some of the content might be inappropriate for children under 13.
Jim Carrey will be returning for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which was a surprise for some.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will come to theaters on December 20, 2024.
