
The ongoing support for PlayStation Plus has yet to slowdown by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Despite previous comments of the likely price increases that will hit the service again, the firm is still adamant on delivering immense value to is subscribers for all tiers available. This past August saw the addition of first-party release Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered to PlayStation Plus Game Catalog then.
As for September 2025, the month started off strong with its free game options. Earlier on, titles like Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley, and Viewfinder were offered for all PlayStation Plus members. Additionally, it was no different for this month’s Game Catalog too. For the extended Extra & Premium users, titles like Persona 5 Tactica & WWE 2K25 were added.
Now with October looming, the next wave of free games for PlayStation Plus is upon us. From its PlayStation State of Play, we now learned the roster for Halloween season is complementing the approaching holiday. Next month players will be met with Alan Wake II, Goat Simulator 3, and Cocoon in October.
Not only that, but some teases for PlayStation Plus Game Catalog was also revealed as well. Come September 26th is ‘The Last of Us Day’ and to celebrate, 2020’s The Last of Us Part II will be added to the service. Even more, select retro titles are on the way too. Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed Tekken 3 & Soulcalibur 3 are both being added as well.
