Among Us To Receive Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S Versions In 2021, Coming To Xbox Game Pass For Console

This week, Developer InnerSloth’s Among Us continues to break into new territory. While the fan-favorite release from the team continues to be a big talking point for many avid players this year, the game has made some exciting reveals. For one, the game received and abrupt release for Nintendo Switch which was revealed during the recent Indie World livestream.

Atop of that, the game also debuted for Xbox Game Pass for PC this week as well. Initially unveiled during last Thursday’s The Game Awards, Microsoft unveiled that the team-investigation title will be available the following week for those that pay the monthly video game streaming service. And that debuted to the library just this Thursday.

Now in addition to the announcement from last week, Microsoft & InnerSloth disclose that Xbox Game Pass for console is also subjected to the addition also. On Twitter, the developer confirms the game will be arriving to Xbox One alongside the Xbox Series consoles next year.

“We’ve updated the title of the post to reflect the availability of Among Us on Xbox Game Pass for PC, and noting its upcoming availability in 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass for Console,” the editor’s update added to the Xbox Wire post reads. At the time of reporting, it is undetermined when a PlayStation version of the game will ship.

Interesting enough, it looks that two of the most trending games are on each of the flag ship consoles: Sony is equipped with the summer hit Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout while the following Among Us is coming to Xbox first, at least for now. But ultimately, all systems are expected to be receiving the titles seeing Nintendo Switch is welcomed to InnerSloth’s project.
