
Ubisoft announced that its most popular and well-received release of 2025, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, has surpassed 5 million players since its launch. The game released on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam and Windows, and Luna.
The publisher’s CEO teased they plan to bring Assassin’s Creed Shadows to “other machines,” likely meaning the Nintendo Switch 2, which has already been rated.
In the announcement, they confirmed that in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, there were 2 billion Stealth Kills, 1 billion KM traveled, and 38 million animals pet.

When Shadows launched in March, it ended up being the best-selling game in the United States for the entire month. It definitely exceeded many expectations, though there may have been since the game was delayed twice.
