Battlefield Studios has made it no secret that Battle Royale is coming to Battlefield 6 eventually. Prior to the game’s release, there was a tease in a video for the mode, and the studio announced there would be closed tests of it. According to a few insiders, Battlefield 6 Battle Royale will release on October 28 as a shadow drop.
ModernWarzone on X (Twitter) shared that the free-to-play Battlefield 6 Battle Royale mode will be named “Battlefield: RedSec” and it’s releasing October 28. It seems that EA and Battlefield Studios wants to keep it a secret and have a surprise announcement and release trailer for that day.
It has yet to be confirmed what else we could expect in this new Battle Royale game mode. A few months ago, the official map was leaked providing some insight on its locations.
Battlefield 6 is available to play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
