Remember the Xbox 20/20 Gameplay Showcase over two years ago? The presentation opened up with one unique title, Bright Memory: Infinite. While the gameplay is a flurry of particles with tight gameplay and extremely sharp, Battlefield-like visuals, the title happens to be a project of one sole developer. This version is an enhanced iteration of Bright Memory’ which originally shipped on PC.

That same year, Bright Memory released for Xbox Series with promises for an early 2021 release for the ‘Infinite’ version later on. However, that promised could not be delivered upon entirely. 2021 did go on to welcome Bright Memory: Infinite, but only for PC. The console version was still in the oven and needed more time.

In a recent announcement, publisher Playism revealed that Bright Memory: Infinite is scheduled to launch this month for Xbox Series consoles. Not only that, but PlayStation 5 & Switch is also receiving the game as well. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“In addition to the main game, the console version to be released this time will include all cosmetic DLC distributed on the PC version. Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions support a quality mode of +60FPS for ray tracing, a 4K mode for 4K+60FPS, as well as a high frame rate mode of up to 120FPS for users looking for a smoother battle experience,” the blog post reads.

“Users of the PlayStation 5 version can also enjoy the adaptive trigger function of “DualSense”, a PS5 exclusive controller. Also, the Nintendo Switch version is not a cloud version and can be played locally. It supports viewpoint operation with “gyro function” and can also be played in mobile mode.”

Previously, Rectify Gaming in anticipation for Bright Memory: Infinite reviewed Bright Memory concluding that “it’s fun, has strong bones and the potential for a great game in Bright Memory: Infinite is there.” But, with lingering hopes that Infinite will be the answer to its many problems.
